It was a week today when me and my partner Richie was staying at wood fen lodge..The food GREAT the people who worked there GREAT. In fact I could not fault it at all , We will be going back next year..A big Thank you to them all…xxxxx

The handfasting is an ancient pagan ceremony celebrating our commitment to one another where we exchange vows in front friends and family. The ceremony will take place in our henge, this is a wooded area we have created at the end of the meadow, we will be in the centre with our guests around us in a circle. Once we have made our vows our hands will be tied with a cord we will then jump the broomstick to symbolise moving from our old lives into the future together. To complete the ceremony we will partake of cake and mead this will then pass to our guests, as this goes from one person to the next they say “May you never hunger – May you never thirst”. After that it’s party time with a medieval banquet, games and dancing we have the Littleport Riot with dancers and a street jester to provide entertainment and The Travelling Raspberries band so we can boogie the night away. We will update the blog with more details as we get nearer to the day.

Hi Jon

It was a 6.5 hp Loncin, they have the same footprint as Honda engines. I got mine from Ebay, they are also available from http://www.northerntooluk.com.
